This fantastic display includes a hand signed card from Sunderland  legend Bobby Kerr and a glossy photo of  Bobby. Photo taken 5th May 1973.  Sunderland's captain, Bobby Kerr, proudly shows supporters the FA Challenge Cup won by his team in the FA Cup Final against Leeds United. The team's goalkeeper, Jim Montgomery, is also pictured (right). The unlikely lads who wrote their names into FA Cup folklore with Sunderland in 1973 instantly became legends on Wearside. Keeper Jim Montgomery's double save, Ian Porterfield's goal and manager Bob Stokoe's joyous sprint across the Wembley turf made them household names across Britain and helped to cement the reputation of the football's oldest knockout competition throughout the world. This display is double mounted in Cream and Black and is superbly framed in a Black frame with silver trim - approximate dimensions 450mm x 400mm. All autographs are obtained in private signing sessions for which the sportsmen were paid a fee and all come with a Certificate of Authenticity as our guarantee.
